I upgraded to the s25 ultra from the z flip 5 and I had no idea the music player was in the quick panel and not notifications. It's so incredibly tedious and obnoxious having to pause music now etc

Another issue I have is that you can no longer organize apps by alphabetical order without it making you scroll up and down when that's not how I prefer it. I prefer left and right so I spent 3 hours organizing my apps in alphabetical order because of this overall I just hate one ui7 it's so inconvenient and not user friendly

Why did Samsung think that this was ok??? I almost wanna return the phone and keep my flip 5 šŸ™ƒ

Yes, I do.

For notifications I just swipe down anywhere on the screen.
Double if I need quick panel.

Do you like quick updates? Are you willing to wait months for the next major Android version?

Use 2 fingers to pull the panel down?

I am unsure if people are aware of this is a behavior of the panel for a very long time.

1 finger swipe pulls notification down.
2 finger swipe pulls down the second panel.

I forget which Android version it was introduced but it has been a long minute.

Im aware to get quick panel you use two fingers. Its still not a comfortable action to do something as simple as pausing a song especially if you type with your thumbs like most human beings. Two thumbs has been for quick panel and media has always been available on notifications bar with 1 finger slide down.

To put it mildly, I'm very frustrated with the removal of the default music player option on my brand new Gakaxy S25 Ultra running Android 15. I have contacted support and even they tried to help me for days before realizing that your can no longer set your own default music player; for instance, like Spotify for example. Now, every single time I put in my galaxy buds, or every single time I get in my vehicle and Android auto starts, I have to manually pull my phone out and go in and change the music player over to Spotify. I can't begin to understand this foolishness. I can say though that it is extremely frustrating and I really hope that it will cause a great deal of requests by the masses to have it fixed.

You can download the Samsung Music Player from the Galaxy store, you can set Spotify as your default music player, or you can use any music player you want and set it as your default. You can add Spotify to the AA launcher screen so you don't have to pull out your phone to manually change players.  So many options.
