Galaxy S25I live in Florida. I don't normally use my phone outdoors, because I can't see the screen in the sun, and can't see it with sunglasses either. I've also said before, just because your phone is hot doesn't mean it's overheating. Phones generate heat in use. Just because it's cool also doesn't mean it's NOT overheating. I have, however, used my phone in a steam room (in a pouch, of course) without it getting hot or overheating.

Galaxy S25What about it? Even if the phone heats up when in use, that's what phones do. The CPU and battery generate heat. It's not normally a problem (unless it's hot enough to cause burns), unless your phone starts lagging and freezing. As I said, just because the phone's surface is hot, does not mean it's in an overheat condition. In most cases, when a phone actually starts to overheat, the internal sensors catch it and slows down or stops processes (hence, the lag and freeze), dims the screen or shuts down the phone completely until the phone is cooled off. If none of that is happening, the phone is not overheating. The phone will always protect itself. The overheat condition is generally detected at the motherboard level, because if the motherboard fries, your phone is fried.
