After one ui 8 my car will no longer hold a connection via Bluetooth. (2010 Mazda 3) I've had this car for 15 years, never had a connection issue until now. My phone works with my work vehicle and my friends iPhone 13 has no issues with my Mazda. I can't figure out the conflict! I've tried removing the device and starting fresh, but nope. The weird part is my phone connection will connect, stay connected, but the audio toggle for music won't stay connected and takes multiple times to connect. If it does connect, after i turn off my car, it won't reconnect like before one ui 8. It always connected the 1st time and always connected if i turned my car off and on again. Sorry for the rant, but it's driving me crazy.

Figured out something while diagnosing.

If I have active directions running in Waze while listening to music, it'll stutter, lock up, and occasionally disconnect/reconnect.

If I don't have an active Waze directions going and only the Waze map pulled up, while listening to music, no issues.

Again, this only started happening after ui8 update.

I'll keep diagnosing and share what I find, in case Samsung needs feedback. I used to be in the beta testing back in the day but I don't have that time to go down. that path, so this will have to suffice.

Same issue, 2010 Mazda 3, worked fine on my S23 Ultra until the One UI update.

All other Bluetooth devices are fine, it's only the music option on the car that no longer works. Phone connection still pairs.

Can't select music player either, it's like that part of the phone is no longer visible to the car.

Exactly the same for me. No issues with my 2013 Prius at all.

I upgraded from S23 Ultra to S25 Ultra... the S23 I had no problem connecting my 2012 Chevy Equinox (MyLink system).  The S25 Ultra, I go through the process, it asks for the pin, and everything seems ok.  I test, and no phone calls can be made.  While connected, I noticed that in the phone's Bluetooth settings for my car, the "audio" option is missing.  That's the only thing I can see as the issue - it's a common option on most devices.  Has anyone else solved the Bluetooth car connection?  Any assistance would help.

You may have to reset your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings.

Are you on Android 16? Unfortunately that update has completely broken the ability to properly connect to Bluetooth only stereos in older cars, I have the same issue in my 2015 Outlander

Good to know.  I will check.  I wasn't aware of that.  Thanks

I have had many different Galaxy note phones and most recently I traded from the S23 to the S25 (both Galaxy note).  I had no problems with my Galaxy S23 receiving text messages and / or phone calls in my car, GMC Acadia 2023 model.  Every since I have had my S25 Galaxy, I miss phones calls and text all the time and I am right there in my car.  The same vehicle, 2023 GMC Acadia.  It seems like I upgraded to a newer phone and I can't get the features that I have been using in my past cars since at least 2016.  This is very disappointing and I would love to hear that you have an update or a solution.  I have already searched google, you tube and on this platform and I see many people have had this issue but the suggestions made; I have already tried over and over to no avail!
Please look into this and fix this bug
