Samsung S25 with AT&T, One UI version 8.0, Android version 16, Kernel 6.6.77. I've just noticed in recent weeks at least, that on phone calls the audio cuts out very briefly every 4-8 seconds or so (it doesn't seem exactly spaced). The person I'm speaking to also indicates that I am cutting out like this every so often. I verified I'm not on wifi calling, and continues to happen even with wife and bluetooth turned off. Anyone else having this recently, or any ideas what the issue might be?

Might try resetting the network on connection settings

I had trouble all day today with my phone doing the same thing and people saying I was cutting out..I was on my speaker, so thought that might be the problem

Just a wild guess: are there other apps running in the background that may be affecting the phonecall audio? Try closing all apps in memory via the Samsung/Android Device Manager right before your next phonecall, to test.

With further testing, it kept doing it after resetting network and after booting to safe mode. It also was resolved if I used wifi calling. I had tested my wife's s25 and hers was fine, so tried swapping sim cards. Then when I swapped back, tested hers again an it was happening same as mine. So unless I infected her sim with my phone (seems highly unlikely), I must have just not caught hers doing it. If both are having the problem, seems highly likely to be a network or tower issue on AT&Ts side. However, their support said there were no issues with my line they could see. I'd still be interested if anyone else notices this going on. I'm going to test further when I have my phone outside my home area to see if maybe it's a local network/tower issue.
