If you're looking to jump to 8.5 early, keep an eye on the Samsung Members app. Usually, a banner will appear there if a Beta program is open for your specific model and region. Just keep in mind that Betas can be a bit buggy, so if this is your main phone, waiting for the stable 2026 release might be safer!
@userroNVGJETBK Open the Samsun Members app. Click on Discover in lower left. Scroll down the screen until you see the Beta banner. Click on the banner. It will tell you if a Beta is available to you or not.
Are you expecting to get updates weekly? That's a bit unrealistic. Your phone will get 7 years of updates (or 7 major updates). 8.5 is in beta testing now and is not available to everyone. Only specific models of factory unlocked phones with specific carriers are eligible for the beta. It is not automatic. You have to find the banner when it's available, apply for it and be accepted to the test program.
