Been using the Galaxy S25 for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve got to say—it’s probably the most balanced phone I’ve used in a long time. The display is insanely smooth, battery easily lasts a full day, and the haptics feel more refined than before.

One thing I did early on was apply a tempered glass from Gadgetshieldz. I’ve had bad luck in the past with micro-scratches showing up within days, so I didn’t want to take chances. Installation was smooth, and it hasn’t interfered with touch or clarity at all.

Loving the experience so far. Curious to hear—how’s everyone else finding the S25 in daily use? Any tips or hidden features you’ve discovered?

Since I upgraded a month ago from a Galaxy S22 Ultra to a Galaxy S25 Ultra all I've been getting is bugs in the software. Im loving the hardware and performance but this last UI updates are a mess. Please get it together...

Can you be specific about what you are experiencing? Perhaps someone can help you fix the issues.  Being non-specific by saying "bugs in the software", is saying nothing at all.

I'll start by saying I've exclusively owned Samsung smartphones for the past decade and a half. My S25U is only a few months old, but it has been the worst Samsung device I've ever owned. I have never experienced this many issues with a phone. The issues, coupled with poor customer service, has gotten so bad that my next phone will more than likely be an Apple device.

The battery says super fast charging but takes 2 hours to fully charge. It took 1 hour to go from 3% to 40%. I've tried multiple cables and blocks. Other people's phones charge quickly with these same cables and blocks, but my S25U doesn't. I even bought a brand new OEM block and cable. The battery life was also much better when I first purchased the device, but now I have to charge it multiple times a day.

The phone had a fast processing time when I first got it, but it quickly started slowing down. I kept thinking software updates would fix it, but they haven't. It is now at the point where it will lag so badly that it shuts off and reboots.
It has also overheated a lot, both when charging and not charging. I had to place it on an ice pack after I took the hot phone out of the case and burnt my arm when it touched it. 

Samsung's only resolution is for me to send my phone to them for up to 21 business days with no loaner. I wouldn't say I'm glued to my phone, but in what way can you realistically navigate today's world without a phone for practically a month?
