New battery icon is absolutely awful - One UI 7 / April patch update

New battery icon is way too big / fat in the latest beta release. Please change it back asap.

Update: if beta users complained that previous icon was too small to read how about giving us an option to choose or make the actual pill smaller a bit?

It's gross. I hate it. The new UI of this update should not have happened. It looks like a cheaper less thought out copy of ios.

I can see some say too small or too big so what if you can adjust the size in the settings on one ui 8!!!!!

It's funny so many people were clamoring for the update, then went out of their minds with the delay, now we're finding that many of those same people do not like One UI7. LOL SMH

This was likely changed due to MANY people complaining that it was hard to see.  Making it larger is the quickest, easiest way to make something more visible, so that is what they did.  They tried to give the people what they wanted, now someone in this thread wants someone to lose their job.  I guess truly no good deed goes unpunished.

They didn't do their job. If they want to make something visble for everyone then they need to make options. The new design is hard to see for me but the simple option of removing the pill or changing the colors would make it useful for more people.

In addition there is no way to turn off the battery icon on the AOD screen.

OneUI 7 is by far one of the worst updates Samsung has ever released.

As someone who needs to wear progressive lense glasses, I can no longer see what the percentage is with the "pill". There is insufficient contrast and the font is not readable. I absolutely hate this update.
