I installed company portal on my new S25 Ultra and signed using my work credentials and then I press Begin to create a Work Profile. It does something for 3-5 seconds and gives me an error "Can't add Work Profile'.
I checked with my company's IT Admin and there are no policy restrictions and they asked me to try on other devices.
I tried it then on my Note 20 Ultra and S24 Ultra and it worked fine. Seems like there is an issue with S25 software compatibility or something.
I called Samsung Care and they blindly shirked off their hands and told me to contact my IT Department š Pretty useless. If there is no solution I might have to return the phone since I can't have a phone without my work email and apps.
I agree this needs to be fixed ASAP. I also feel S25 Ultra is smaller/harder to read compared to my S24 Ultra but specs say otherwise. Maybe I need to get used to it.
So after a little bit of research, it seems that the S25 series is not yet supported by Android enterprise, which manages the work profile on your phone. Now it's just a waiting game until they officially support it š
Yes it has, with the S24U it happened as well and that post was resolved about a week after it was made. So I'd say give this a week ish to hopefully get addressed. The s25u is technically not officially released until February 7th so we all got ours ahead of schedule. Maybe then it'll be fixed on googles side
Same issue here. I wonder what exact date and time it will go live. Maybe the firmware is signed off for a specific date and time before InTune will allow it.
