I installed company portal on my new S25 Ultra and signed using my work credentials and then I press Begin to create a Work Profile. It does something for 3-5 seconds and gives me an error "Can't add Work Profile'.

I checked with my company's IT Admin and there are no policy restrictions and they asked me to try on other devices.

I tried it then on my Note 20 Ultra and S24 Ultra and it worked fine. Seems like there is an issue with S25 software compatibility or something.

I called Samsung Care and they blindly shirked off their hands and told me to contact my IT Department šŸ˜ž Pretty useless. If there is no solution I might have to return the phone since I can't have a phone without my work email and apps.

Same here. Got my new S25 ultra. It does ask for MFA code and past that point, it says work profile cannot be added.  Frustrating!!

Do you have another MDM on your device ?
Also, you may need to setup secure folder.

I do have secure folder setup on my s25 ultra but I don't think it has anything to do with work profile. I tried setting up the work profile on my newly reset s24 ultra (I have returned it to samsung yet) and the profile works just fine. There is no secure folder on my s24 ultra and the work profile still worked. I think this problem is specific to s25 and that Samsung missed updating something .. like forgetting to add these devices into some list that intune recognises.. I hope samsung team get their s**t together and fix this issue. Otherwise, I am returning it..

That could be true.
You could check with your admin. They should be able to tell you more from their side.
I once had to request them (MS) to add the new device.

Is there no possibility of actually checking with your IT team?  This is technically their account, and may not be setup to accept the S25 Ultra yet.  It could not hurt to simply ASK THEM, could it?

I did that and it's NOT. All the others with this issue work for various companies so wr can't all have faulty IT departments

I did not say your IT department was faulty, and the argument you use to discredit my suggestion actually proves a part of it, you know the "... and may not be setup to accept the S25 Ultra yet."  Maybe they have another user that had this problem.  Someone in your company had to setup Intune to begin with, so I fail to see how it is NOT possible to reach out to them, especially if this is a legitimate business need.

I already have. It works on the S24 Ultra, NOT the S25 Ultra. There is nothing through my IT blocking it. It's a known issue had by many users. Not sure what you are trying to point out. Samsung and Microsoft need to update SOMETHING so myself and everyone else who needs this can have it.

I did check with the IT team and they have no clue either. They are going to open a ticket with microsoft/intune

Your company IT may need to update their settings to allow the device, too.
