New S25 Ultra - Notifications not working

Howdy!

Received my new S25 Ultra yesterday, set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly but none of my notifications are working. 

Zero.

I have gone though forum postings that other people have posted looking for solutions and most of those has been DND or a routine turned on blocking notifications. 

Things I've checked:

• Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
• No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
• Sound is on.
• Vibrate is on.
• No icons or app badges show up on the top.
• The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
• All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
• This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
• My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
• If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.

Other than wiping the phone, skipping the SmartSwitch and starting from scratch, I am not sure how to move forward.

I'm having the same issue, but with text messages only. I've reset my phone and did not work.

Hello there is something with the one ui blocking off some notifications automatically. Which built in settings doze off  something like that. There is one guy who posted in reddit to fix this.

I got my first software update and the bug still persists.  

Thanks for that Reddit link.  I was able to download the app and run ADB commands locally.  It's not ideal, but at least can fix it myself until a patch is issued.

The ADB workaround was posted countless times already. I don't want to use ADB to fix the most essential problem with my new phone. Also with this after reboot it won't work and you need a pc to connect again. This is not acceptable and needs to be fixed ASAP by Samsung. I don't get it why this is not in every news because no one is receiving any notifications from X and other important messengers. Unfortunately to many normies out there they have not clue for sure they are affected.

My girlfriends phone had this issue. I called my service provider and they had me clear her cache and data from her messaging app and reset her network settings on my end and their end and it started working again. Don't know if this'll help you guys out.

I've been having this problem as well. However, tonight I went through and uninstalled and disabled everything I wasn't using and I started getting notifications again. I don't know which was the culprit, but I disabled bixby and gemini and Google messages since I still prefer to use the Samsung messaging app (no other text/sms i can find has custom message categories).

Only thing not sending notifications for me is YouTube. I pulled my hair out twice trying to figure this out and still haven't. Had the same problem with my S24 ultra. Both phone's I used smart switch.

Same issue. Cannot receive notifications on AOD / lock screen. Totally fresh install. Tried Gmail and Samsung Reminder app. All appropriate settings are ON, meaning display notifications on lock screen is checked, app notifications are enabled, AOD is on. Whoever is experiencing similar issues submit support ticket via Members app. At this point I'm even ready to return S25 Ultra if I can't find any solution and ADB workaround is not acceptable for such a vital piece of functionality. I strongly believe that this is a bug in One UI 7 or Android 15. I've never seen this on previous Galaxy devices.

I had the same on my S24 Ultra, eventually they got everything working with updates.

I'm having same issue samsung S25 ultra. Notifications sounds is my issue. All set correctly. All I hear is one sound for every app and as a business this is a problem as I'm missing my website chats, emails and woocomerce alerts. I'm receiving some drop down menu Notifications but missing a lot.
