Messages app crashing

Anyone knows why messages app start crashing frequently? It's happens almost every third day and it's annoying, is updated but still crashing. 

Any advice? I got s25 ultra with one UI 7

You can try clearing the cache check rcs setting if number is showing as verified

I do a ready and nothing, I uninstall and reinstall again and same.

Not sure but are you on verizon? Think I saw mention last few days that there's some issue on verizon side with messages

I have Verizon, and my Google Messages is working just fine.
Marquis Brown Lee from MKBHD is having the same problems on his S25U on AT&T. I told him to do the usual things clear cache, wipe cache partition, uninstall and reinstall, nothing worked.
I think it is a Google Play System issue.

I think this is an AT&T thing. A very famous TechTuber is having the same problem with AT&T
