Rant about a new phone transfer

First Hello to all !! Sending well wishes to everyone from Western Wisconsin 😀

I have a odd or maybe constant sense of humor. It not always funny but I try my best 😊😇

Excuse me while I rant a bit about a new phone transfer...... 🌞 

So far my new phone is like programming the N.A.S.A. Super computer 🖥 🙄 

And it's not just signing into Apps, because that doesn't work. I have to delete App, sign in and put in all my info again. And all the previous info is gone...i.e. no Libre history anymore. 

Is there a trick im missing? Notice that 'i' & 'im' is no longer corrected to I......

Im (<~~notice no correction) literally carrying 2 working phones to get everything i had before. 

It won't let me customize ringtone, notifications, or anything. 

Im not sure I'll find this post again.....

From which phone did you switch?

@Lkookla Did you use Samsung's Smart Switch to transfer everything? 

Each app developer has to provide the needed hooks so that Smart Switch knows which data to transfer for that app.

If you didn't use Samsung's Smart Switch, its not to late you still can.

As far as custom tones for everything you need to go to settings, notifications, advanced settings, toggle on Manage Notification categories. You will now be able to do custom sounds for everything.

Unfortunately logging in to individual apps you will still have to do, even using Smart Switch.

I never use smart switch and it's a breeze to set every phone the way I want. I enjoy it.
