Media in Notification Bar

Please bring back the ability to have my currently playing media in the notification bar if I have Notifications and quick panel selected as "Together". I now need multiple swipes just to change a song or rewind/fast forward. The Now button is bad enough being tiny and on the bottom of the screen. Isnt the whole point of Android that we arent stuck without options like iOS users?

I've played with it, but I want to get this phone used to my set up and preferences b4 using it and implementing anything. Good Lock is a masterwork for the UI of any smartphone I've ever used.

Separate is definitely a "NO-GO" for me. Can't reach the top one handed.

I like it either way, even if having to use that extra gesture in together mode. It's a 1 second operation.
Have you tried one handed mode btw?

For notifications I just swipe down anywhere on the screen.
Double if I need quick panel.
