I upgraded to the s25 ultra from the z flip 5 and I had no idea the music player was in the quick panel and not notifications. It's so incredibly tedious and obnoxious having to pause music now etc

Another issue I have is that you can no longer organize apps by alphabetical order without it making you scroll up and down when that's not how I prefer it. I prefer left and right so I spent 3 hours organizing my apps in alphabetical order because of this overall I just hate one ui7 it's so inconvenient and not user friendly

Why did Samsung think that this was ok??? I almost wanna return the phone and keep my flip 5 šŸ™ƒ

I understand but its still extra buttons to push. The new ui has basically forced those who use their phones to listen to media to now click extra buttons for access to the media. The Lock screen is far less bothersome to me than the notification panel as the lockscreen atleast still has an option available to allow me to atleast pause/play the media.

Samsung is never going to make everyone happy. Personally I hated the media player on my notification panel, too distracting. I just want to see my notifications.

For me it is where it is supposed to be.

Sure, but once again.... options. If they can set it up to click a button to merge the notification bar and the quick panel, they can add an option in notifications settings to allow media to be displayed.

I'm here because I too despise the new setup. It's bad enough that Im tempted to return the s25 so i can have the s24 back. I tinker with the media player all the time while listening to stuff and now it's a pain to find

I use the separate setting to get the full quick panel in one gesture. I get people don't like it, but for now one can choose separate. I use it and swiping down the left side for notifications and the right side for the full quick panel both in one gesture works for me

Even in my one gesture my media button always shows play last song. I click twice to bring it back. And whenever a tune is playing, the one gesture full quick panel shows what's playing. Also, whatever side is showing, using left or right gestures while panel is down moves between the two. Anyway, this what I get, one showing play last song, then that song.

This happens every year, can't make everyone happy. Some things I have complained about for years has been addressed in One Ui7.
Media player being in the notification panel.
Not being able to move Wifi and Bluetooth to where I can reach with my thumb.

Maybe in Ui8 they will finally move the settings and power button to the bottom where it belongs.

In the end I'm sure Good Lock will allow for what are nothing more than personal preferences and most of those are subjective things.

Making suggestions seems to work most times when devs/official creators read them. When Good Lock first came around, it made a huge difference to adjusting features, controls, themes etc. No device maker can do that of its own making, it is too much

What one person wants, another doesn't care about having that feature. Considering what can cosmetically be done on the personal preferences of the Galaxy S series phones that I know of no other doing remotely close to that, imagine the frustration if having used an S25 then go to Apple the following year.

Oh, the horrors of even thinking about that.

Have you tried DIY yet?
It's crazy what they will let you do. It's Nova Launcher on massive amounts of steroids!

I've played with it, but I want to get this phone used to my set up and preferences b4 using it and implementing anything. Good Lock is a masterwork for the UI of any smartphone I've ever used.
