Galaxy S25Change the settings and see if this helps. Swipe down twice as you already need to do, then click on the "Pen" icon. Then on the top left click on "Panel settings" and choose "Separate". You then get a one swipe action by swiping the top right of the screen to get the whole quick panel down, or swipe down on the left for all notifications. Also while in any one view, one can swipe left or right to go back forth between views. It takes the same number of swipes to do all of that as it does on the "Together" setting to have to swipe down twice to get the quick panel to come down all of the way.
In the end it is completely a matter of preference. I hope this helps.

Galaxy S25I'll have to wait until they update it, or just get used to the bad layout.
Thanks!

Galaxy S25Can you explain how it is too cluttered? I am only asking earnestly because the notification and the two swipe gesture needed to get the full quick panel are different in populating notifications or the control/features in the quick panel. The function I suggest does not make the anything clutter together, only operate separately.
In the end it is your choice and that is what matters.

Galaxy S25OK, but that is the view you would get anyway with either choice. The complete quick panel pull down view does nit change between "Separate" and "Together". The only difference is in the choice to view them, not that it changes the view of notifications and the quick panel.
This is mine and the views are the same regardless of choosing separate or together.

Galaxy S25I think a very basic function like that should always be available. Not sure why they took it out but they need to put it back or add a control for "always show media controller" like they do with media output device.
I really dont know why they took it out. And now I lost the dang settings. I can't stand the new notification panel aARRRGH

Galaxy S25It is in your Now Bar and Quick Panel. You can access it even on your AOD with a double press to stop, go back and next song.

Galaxy S25The feature will return once the developers see this feedback. Just need to make it known that it is a usability mistake.
