So the quality in low light particularly in the sky was blotchy and over processed. The sky scrapers were colourful.
There needs to be a fix on low light quality on pictures. Videos also have noise quality issues in low light and doesn’t have smooth transition, my iPhone 13 Pro Max did a better job.
Yeah, night images have not been Samsung's strong point in low light shots and their video recording in low is maybe the worst among the flagship smartphones one can get in the US. I honestly do not get that they have had this issue with low light condition going back to the Note 8 moving forward forward. They definitely are probably the best in daytime image taking and pretty good n daylight video recording. I don't know if starting next year, Samsung can keep using basically the same hardware over again. With the better Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it should be ale to make a far better update to providing better image color accuracy and image/video taking in low light condition better. We'll see soon enough.
They sacrifice their night time imaging for increased daytime quality as they close the aperture down as tight as possible to acquire the highest resolution for daytime but then inhibits light transfer at night And Why I have always preferred 35 mm DSLRs where you have control over shutter speed and aperture size allowing you to shoot literally in the dark with a tripod..
