Galaxy S25My Galaxy went to a black screen of d in the middle of a call after the update, same day. I called and they serioulsy said all of these issues people are having IS THE PHONES not the update.
"It is not the update, the software is simply showing a fault in the phone and exposed it,"
Seriously!

Galaxy S25That's what the phone does - it times out, usually faster than your screen timeout settings. It's supposed to do that. If you want it to stay on, download Good Lock's Display assistant and select the call and phone apps to stay on for 10 minutes. In that app, you can also add a quick panel icon to keep your screen on for 30 minutes any time you wish, so during a phone call you can just toggle it on and your screen won't time out. If you put your phone to your ear, like a normal phone user, the proximity sensor will cause the screen to turn off so you don't accidentally push any buttons. This has been phone behavior since cell phones were invented.
Did the screen merely go dark, or did it disconnect your call? Do you really need for your screen to be on for your entire phone conversation? Will you then complain about the battery drain every time you get or make a call? Using the 10 minute screen on time will keep your phone screen on during the important part of your call, navigating the voice prompts. Utilizing the 30 minute screen on control will keep your screen on for 30 minutes (or until you toggle it off). If your call lasts longer than 30 minutes, you can just turn it on again.
