How much space does Samsung take?

Just got the s 25 ultra. I have deleted all the apps I could that it came with and only downloaded 5 apps.. like Instagram, Facebook msger, etc. It's telling me that I've already used 43 gigs. 19 of them are for apps and 18 of them are for the system.. it doesn't make since. Can someone tell me what's going on please.

I don't have to look anything up.  I've done tech support for 30 years.  The terms are not interchangeable when trying to address tech issues. /fin.

Memory is Memory. How the memory is stored is the only difference man.

NVM are long term memory
VM is short term memory

Memory is Memory...

Everyone outside of "tech support" and actually building the hardware are the actual terms. Simplifying the terms doesn't make what the actual terms are wrong.

I've had my S24+ with 512 GB for a year now. I only removed a few stock app, and a few carrier apps. But I added a whole lot more, have many photos, a whole bunch of albums in flac format (much bigger than mp3 format).

OMG... should I worry?

Yes. All that space that Samsung is using looks totally normal.
