I'm new to Samsung so I may just be missing it, but is there a way to have notifications vibrate and make a sound at the same time? It seems I can only do one or the other (unless it's a call). Am I just over looking something?
Welcome to the Galaxy Fam, yes you can have sound and vibrate at the same time by going into your Settings, then Sound and Vibration. You will see a toggle that says Vibrate while Ringing. If it's off, toggle it on. Also, below that will be a Call vibration setting that you can switch to find a specific vibration pattern of your liking.
In addition to what @KnightRiderRalph said, in the notification settings for your individual apps when you turn the allow notifications slider on, there is also a slider for allow sound and vibration. Make sure that is on.
