I like to organize my photos into albums. I used to do that on my S21 a lot. Now that I have the S25 Ultra it's harder to organize.

Now when I put albums into a folder they also stay in the "Recent" folder. I don't want this. The photos that were not in the Recent folder let me know they were already in an album. Now I don't know what to do. Now I don't know how to tell which photos still need to go into an album.

Please help. Is this able to be changed?

Sorry but this can't be changed as in the recent is a list of all photos on your phone and can't be removed from the recent list. I normally start at the bottom of the list working my way up adding the images on each page to a album and then scroll up and add those and so on

It's pretty easy to track which photos still need to go into an album. If you swipe up on the photo to view the details, just follow the file location. You'll see /Internal storage/DCIM. If there's no folder name after DCIM, or it says Camera, Downloads, Screenshots, etc., that might be something you'd want to move into an album. If you want to see the Recents album less, you could go into the settings and turn on "Select Essential Albums," then on the main page, tap the three dots, select "Essential Albums," and deselect Recents.
