Galaxy S25Brand New Unlocked S25 Ultra and my 5Ghz Wi-Fi in unusable. I have toggled Intelligent Wi-Fi settings on and off, private dns on or off it still happens. My 2.4Ghz to the same router does not have this issue.
I have been running this router in the same spot for years with the current setup without any issues. My S24 Ultra never had issues like this, no router settings have changed at all. All my other devices including an old pixel phone work fine.
Not sure if it's hardware related to the radio or just buggy software. Any ideas or anyone else having same or similar issues?
Brand New Galaxy S25 Ultra
Old Pixel Phone, I have tons of devices on this network and my S24 Ultra had zero problems the entire time I have it.

Galaxy S25@Napster That is an odd issue. Have you tried rebooting your router? This would reset the end point to your S25 and maybe correct the issue.

Galaxy S25Why even post that? Did you even read what I wrote or look at the screenshots? That's just not helpful at all.
Anyway for anyone else that comes across this I have been troubleshooting since I posted that. The issue appears to be related to my router was using a DFS channel. I changed it to a non DFS channel and so far it has stabilized and the packet loss has gone away.
Never have had an issue with it on previous generation devices or other devices. This model appears to be highly sensitive to it compare to older phones.

Galaxy S25I did fail to mention that I rebooted my router, I figured that would have been assumed being that I posted 2 screenshots side by side with an older device working perfectly and the new one not. That was the point of the post. So yes, I did reboot my router.
The reason for the screenshots was to show the packet loss which is not normal at all especially when I have been running this setup for years and no other devices have this issue which I also posted.
When people have a real issue and post about it be it me or anyone else and all you get is the most generic copy and paste non-helpful reply it's frustrating because that is not any kind of real support especially when it comes to a hardware issue with the wi-fi radio.

Galaxy S25@Napster Troubleshooting is a process. It is especially difficult remotely. You have to ask questions and get responses from the person experiencing the issue. Much of the time, the simple actions cure issues.
A lot of posters say things like "I've done everything" but when you walk them through the process they discover things that they haven't done and often it provides a solution.
Copping an attitude isn't helpful when someone is trying to help you.
