Does It Learn Sleeping Habits No Matter What?

I want to use Adaptive Charging, but I don't want it full charging my phone constantly every night until it does. 

Does it learn sleeping habits even if switch to Basic battery protection?

I made another post asking which is better, but I feel this needs it's own question.

@MetalMatty  The Adaptive battery setting has nothing to do with charging. Adaptive battery restricts how apps run in the background and therefore saving battery.

I'm talking about Adaptive Charging. 

Under battery protection, there is different forms of charging. One of which is adaptive charging.

I'm guessing you deleted this snarky comment after you made it so I'd see the reply in the email but nobody else would (or for any other reason I guess), but sure, you can have the technicality about what is ACTUALLY called. 

I figured it was obvious based on the context.
