Direct text gone

I've always liked the direct text and direct call widgets. They are very time-saving. With the S25 it looks like they got rid of the direct text widget, though they kept the direct dial. I can't think of a reason in the world. I hope it comes back in an update.

THIS! I always had the combo call/text contact widget for my wife front and center on my previous phones. I'm crushed. They gotta give us this one back. PLEEEEEASE

Select contact
Lower right press more
Select direct text
Select number
Save to home screen
Merge with direct dial.

It WORKED! Direct Text is Back for S25 Ultra!

This does NOT allow other apps that rely on widgets to create direct message links. This ONLY gives home screen access to it. A widget is still needed.
