Galaxy S25Hey @TheMiz, We apologize for the delayed response. For Device Care, have you tried resetting the app settings? This will remove any custom settings you have, but should not delete any data. Settings>General Management>Reset>Reset app settings/preferences
Did your update install?

Galaxy S25FWIW once the software update freezes form the device care I have to force close the device care app.
Once close and reboot then it will work for a awhile.
I can check for updates by checking through the settings.. I was told earlier that going through the device care was not the proper wat to do this!

Galaxy S25Thanks for that information. We are happy to hear the update did install. We apologize you've had so much trouble.
You should be able to check for updates both through Device Care and through the regular settings (towards the bottom).
With all the troubleshooting failing, we recommend submitting feedback in the Members app immediately after recreating the issue: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692 This will provide Samsung developers with data logs from the phone, and hopefully allow them to see the error.

Galaxy S25We understand the update was not the problem. We are asking you to submit feedback regarding the Device Care app causing the phone freeze.

Galaxy S25Correct. If you have cleared cache partition, cleared app cache/data, tested in safe mode, factory reset and the app is still freezing when trying to check for updates, then it is not resolved, and we recommend submitting feedback to Samsung to make them aware there is an issue with the app. Please use the link provided above for the steps and ways to submit your error report through the Samsung Members app. When submitting the error report, let them know that your device care app is freezing and you are unable to resolve your symptoms with the troubleshooting provided.
