I reported this in every iteration of the beta for the S25+ and the issue has persisted into the stable release.

UI8 has a bug where Bluetooth connection to non-Android Auto vehicle stereo systems that use only Bluetooth is not functioning properly.
Auto connection never works and, on the occasions where it is able to connect after manual toggling, both audio and phone connections are prone to constant disconnecting.

This seems to be an issue on most non-Android Auto Bluetooth car stereos and is not limited to just Samsung devices, with Android 16 at large having this issue based on reports from Pixel users.

Despite months of reports from Android users of many manufacturers, this issue has persisted.

Another option is to open an issue with the android team to let them know that it stopped working after the update

I can't post links here but search for the android Auto community and there will be "experts" there that can escalate to the android team

You will have to wait for Google to issue a Play System update unfortunately. Ui8 is still on July, every other device I am on is September.

Does anyone know how to S25 to connect to Android auto. Samsung is no help and states there is no problem on their end. Funny, my S20 works just perfect but not the S25.

I try all ideas on the internet for help nothing works.

Thanks

Saying you've tried "all ideas on the internet" doesn't tell us anything. Do you want to use AA via wired or wireless connection? If wireless, are you using a BT dongle or does the vehicle have wireless AA? Which vehicle do you have?

There is a different procedure for connecting to AA on newer devices than there was on the S20. For one thing, AA is no longer a separate app. Look in settings/connected devices for Android Auto and configure it for your vehicle and preferences.

We ran into issues with AA as well and it acting like it would connect but not actually functioning. We were using wired AA. Turns out the cable was old and needed replacing.

I would suggest going wireless if you can though. So much nicer and easier. No worrying about cables. They sell dongles to convert wired to wireless. Probably the best one out there is the Motorola one.

That's the same one I use. Not a single problem in the 3 years I've had it.
