I want a transparent widget with time, lolcation and and weather. Can't find the right size or location has my entire address on it? Such a simple thing to add i thought. My old one did not make it during "smartswitch". What a pain! Can anyone help me?

Galaxy S25Long press on the widget once it is on your home screen. Then turn the background OFF. You now how a widget as you have described!
As for battery, Galaxy phones have an adaptive battery feature that uses machine learning to optimize battery consumption based on your usage.
After a major software update, this feature resets and needs to relearn your usage patterns. You may notice diminished battery life for a week or so while this process takes place.
Also, have you performed these steps for routine maintenence?
โ Follow Samsungโs Best Practices Guide
In particular, clearing device cache is an important practice in order to clean up junk files and keep things running smooth.

โ Use Samsungโs Good Guardians
Download Good Guardians and run its various modules. These modules optimize performance and can identify unusual behavior.

Hope this helps!

Galaxy S25Do you sometimes forget where you live?
Personally I wouldn't want that much information on my screen for security reasons. Prying eyes do not need to see where I live.
The Samsung weather widget is really nice.

Galaxy S25When you described the widget I thought you wrote that it had your address.
The reason the app you were using didn't transfer using Smart Switch is because it was a 32 bit app, you now need an app that supports 64 bit. I had many legacy apps that didn't get transfered either.
Try the Samsung weather widget and remove the background. You can pick from many different styles, clock embedded or just weather. Depending on your wallpaper you can choose Black text or white.

Galaxy S25While this has a few ads in it, it is not very obtrusive. I use the "Today Weather" app form the Google Play Store. The widgets have many variations (it has 30 widgets), are very adjustable in sizes and even comes with the clock on one side, the weather info on the other within the widget. One can set the sizes, the font sizes, icons, font and icon colors, background color, etc. Tapping the weather section opens up the detail and it has its own radar that does not go to a website to view live radar. Tapping any of the info, hourly, daily etc stays within the app and does not open a browser website. Touching the clock opens up the alarm, world clock, etc functions. I have mine of transparent to match my black wallpaper.
