Android Auto music connect

Every time I get in the car android auto starts playing music from my phone. Before oneUI 7 even though it was annoying, you could at least swipe the notification away to quickly end the music. 

This is no longer the case- an android auto icon appears in the notification bar instead and the only way to pause is in the media output bar.

By any chance doe anyone know how to stop music from automatically playing when connecting android auto?

Go into settings and search for Android Auto. Select Android Auto settings and there is a toggle button to select if the music starts automatically

That's the frustrating part it's toggled off but it still plays
