Yeah, it's possible but most know how the rumors go. I will say based on last year's early December release of the 7.0 beta for the s24s, that would follow for the S25s in preparation for the S26 models early next year.

Downloading now, let's see if it themes all apps.
Google has mandated in their new Developers Distribution Agreement they must supply a monochromatic version of their icon to enable consistent color themes for homescreens.
The updated DDA, legally obligates developers to comply with these requirements if they want their apps listed in the Google Play Store.

Post some results. If it's as comprehensive as noted, that is a big leap for Google. It will be interesting to see how that will be integrated into the UI 8.5.

I wish they would finally allow for removing app label. One of my biggest pet peeves about Pixel Launcher and why I will probably always use a 3rd party launcher on my Pixel. I don't need to know the name of my apps.
It still doesn't hit the sweet spot, it themes all apps inconsistently. You don't have a choice to be in dark mode with apps in light mode.

Well, I guess for Pixel diehards it may be enough. I'm not big on having to create themes or aesthetics for personal taste, just as long as it functions and certain aspects have a bit more granular control. Like removing that battery pill icon for one or maybe allowing custom colors for notification icons in the status bar.
I guess we'll see how much customization is possible in the UI 8.5 as this will carry over into that OS change.
