Suggestion for Samsung Developers:
A new AI-driven tool to automatically generate and apply Material You-compatible icons for third-party apps that don't natively support the feature. This could be integrated into OneUI's native Wallpaper and style settings or released as a new module within the Good Lock suite.
The problem is that the AI "Color" style feature of OneUI is excellent for creating a cohesive home screen. However, its effectiveness is often broke by third-party apps that do not provide a compatible icon. These apps, like the MS Outlook for Android, stand out like a sore thumb on the home screen, breaking the design of the user. This forces us to either accept the inconsistent look or resort to apps that allow us to manually redesign/color the apps icon but without access to getting the exact color applied by OneUI, or even worse trying to find an icon pack that give the look we want with the colors we need to match our background and a replacement icon for every app we use, which often have their own drawbacks.
My Proposed Solution (Which is honestly what I thought we were getting with the AI styled icons): An AI-Guided Icon Tool, even though it will create an icon, I don't think of this as an icon creator. Let me explain. I propose a tool that uses Samsung's existing on-device AI capabilities to solve this problem. The tool would act as a bridge between a full-color app icon and the OneUI color system. Core Workflow: * Icon Identification: The app would first scan the user's phone to identify which installed apps do not have a Material You-compatible icon and flag them for needing one made. * AI-Powered Conversion: * The app can then either A guide the user through the next process for all apps on their phone that need it, or B the User can manually select an app to modified and choose to only process the ones they want too... The user is then guided by AI through the "fix" (e.g., Outlook). * The AI would analyze the app's current icon image to identify its key design elements. * Using algorithms similar to Samsung's photo editing tools (like object isolation or background removal), the AI would attempt to reduce the icon down to its most fundamental shapes and colors. * The AI could then generate a monochromatic version of the icon or layered version of SVG kind of icon (I'm not sure what Material You is looking for), which the OneUI system can dynamically apply a color to. * User Guidance and Refinement: * Some icons may not convert perfectly. The tool could offer a guided editing process where the AI's selection can be refined by the user. For example, the user could tap to confirm which parts of the icon are essential (e.g., the "O" in the Outlook icon) and which are background elements to be ignored. * The user could also help the AI identify layers, for instance, by pointing out which parts of an icon should be the foreground and which should be the background, allowing for more advanced Material You coloring. Community-Driven Icon Library To streamline the process and save users time, the app should have a community-driven component, but not a social component for best icons because essentially these are Guided AI creations
* Shared AI Conversions: Once a user has successfully created and approved an AI-generated icon, that icon's configuration (the AI's process for reducing it) could be submitted to a community library. If the icon is significantly different from other submissions it could be stored for retrieval by other users, if it is essentially a duplicate then no need to store it, this would also be why there is no need to show creator names as the same design will potentially be submitted over and over again.* Intelligent Display: When a user goes to convert a new icon, the system should first check this community library for existing conversions. To prevent clutter, the app should only display by default AI conversion (the one that gets submitted repeatedly because so many people will accept the default, then it could show the top significantly different icons where someone spent some time perfecting it and offer the option for browsing further if the user wishes too. This should prevents the user from having to scroll through thousands of identical-looking conversions, and in many cases (unless the user just wants to see what the AI on their phone came up with) the user could choose the standard AI design submitted by other users and not even have to wait for their phone to process the icon. * Conclusion: This feature would bridge the gap between OneUI's theming capabilities and the reality of third-party apps. It would empower users to achieve a truly cohesive and personalized home screen aesthetic without relying on external, often complex, workarounds. By leveraging existing AI technology, Samsung could provide a powerful and intuitive tool that, honestly I thought their add indicated they were... Ive always loved the idea of icon packs to help change the look and feel of my phone... I always hated how I've never found one pack that covered all my icons. I was excited for Samsung providing an option that didn't require someone to have created the icon for a pack, but now that I have my S25 Ultra, I was saddened to learn that not only was this issue not fixed by this new feature, but in order to resolve this for various apps with the courtesy setup I would have to contact each app developer and ask them to individually fix their app... At least with Packs you only had to contact the pack developer... Aaauuuggghhhhh... It hurts my head...

I submitted feed back and did it under Application, still doesn't seem to fit, also had to really compress my feedback due to the 1000 character limit, so here is what I submitted:
I would like to suggest an AI-driven tool for OneUI or Good Lock to solve the icon style issues. While the AI Color style for icons is great, it's broken by apps like Outlook that are missing a Material You icon creating a bad visual. This forces users into manual, inconsistent and time consuming workarounds.
My proposal: An AI-Guided Icon Tool. It could scan phone for apps without Material You (MY) icons and use Samsung's on-device AI photo editing and generative abilities to convert them. The AI, similar to photo editing tools, could reduce a full-color icon to a monochromatic or layered SVG. The user could refine the AI's selection, confirming key elements and layers.
A library could share these to save others from redoing. Once approved the new MY design "recipe" is shared. To prevent clutter, only display one standard conversion and offer more refined icons based on popularity. Users can choose the basic AI design or a more refined one without having to recreate the wheel.
