My mom and I just upgraded to the s25 this year (I from the s10e and her from a few year old phone) and it's more for her since she uses it more but how do we add the voice to speech button back to the phone bar up top? I got mine in the summer and don't use VTT outside of when I'm driving and even then I proof read it before sending it. But my mom uses it in a daily basis since she's out and about all day.

It would be nice if it was back in the blue circle area instead of missing. I just found the forum post talking about the navigation bar on the bottom after litterally 5 months but that isn't an easy place to put it especilly when you have gloves on as we go into the winter months and we are both outdoors alot.

To get the voice input the microphone needs to be shown. That screenshot has that cropped out. But right below the bottom left symbol choice button should be a keyboard icon. Just touch and hold that icon and the choice will pop up to choose the voice, then that can be used for voice to text input. I do not use any voice input, but form reading over a few tears, I saw most people commenting that the Google voice input to be better than Samsung's. So if one wants to change form one or the other, then click on the gear icon in the keyboard toolbar, then go down to "Voice input" and open that, then choose between the Google or Samsung, or none even.

I read that and found it. But my question is why can't it be where the blue circle is. There is no option for the microphone to be used other then next to the back button unless I was map it to the side button. We both use a case and with it now being winter need gloves so it's not the easiest place to access.

@TeckFox  I do not know. I would suggest opening the feedback in the Members app and suggest that be placed back. In the Members app, click support at the bottom, then choose feedback.

You can't move the voice input icon into the toolbar, but you can assign long-pressing the space bar to voice input.

If you require the voice input in the toolbar, you will need to transition to Gboard.1765716099884.jpg

You can switch to the Google or Swiftkey keyboard where the mic is where you expect it to be.
