Galaxy S24Same as they were before OneUI8. I don't have GPS toggled on all the time.
I had also enabled Connectivity Labs.
Here is what I found...
After confirming that my Intelligent Wi-Fi settings were already optimal, I traced the issue to experimental toggles under Connectivity Labs. These lab features appear to override standard network logic, causing unexpected Wi-Fi disconnections even at a fixed location.
Confirmed Optimal Intelligent Wi-Fi Settings:
- Switch to mobile data: OFF
- Switch to better Wi-Fi networks: OFF
- Prioritize real-time data: ON
- Detect suspicious networks: ON
- Turn Wi-Fi on/off automatically: OFF (location disabled)
Connectivity Labs Adjustments Made:
- Disabled Auto reconnect to carrier Wi-Fi
- Disabled Intelligent Wi-Fi Handover
- Confirmed Switching to mobile data faster and AI switching were OFF
- Left diagnostic toggles (e.g., network quality info) ON for monitoring
I will continue to monitor link stability and โNo linkโ time via Connectivity Labs. Early signs suggest improved consistency.
Hope this helps others navigating similar instability. These toggles are powerful but can conflict with standard behavior if left unchecked.
