Why can I not watch anything while I'm on call with someone?

I can't watch anything while I'm on call either someone and it's really annoying I can't watch YouTube or anything period

May if changed but carriers use to limit data use while on a call for example your using browser and get a call and when you answer the call the data on browser will end that was sometime ago maybe it's different now

Sorry but need more details. What phone you use. What ui you use and with what carrier are you. I do not have that problem
I'm using Samsung Trash Ship S24 ultra ui 6.1 and I'm with Garbage ATT

I got the Samsung S24 FE and also with AT&T idk why, It doesn't matter if I'm on the regular phone or FaceTime even if I'm muted and camera is off I still can't go and watch anything like Facebook I can but youtube and anything else I can't

If you are on facetime you can't do something else. But when im on the phone i can switch between apps. Check your battery usage setting for spacific apps you want to use

See if not optimizing the phone usage. This could be one of the possible things

Battery Optimization:

Go to Settings > Battery > Device usage limits. Find the apps you want to use while on a call and ensure they are not set to "Put unused apps to sleep" or "Background usage limits".

Unrestricted Battery Usage:

For each app, go to Settings > Apps > {app name} > Battery. Ensure the setting is set to "Unrestricted" to allow it to run in the background. 

2. Keeping Apps Open:

Keep Open:

While in the multitasking view (recent apps), tap the icon above the app you want to keep open and select "Keep Open". You can keep up to 3 apps open this way.

Excluded Memory Apps:

Go to Device Care > Memory > Excluded Apps and add the apps you want to allow to be cached.
