Some items T-Mobile offers on Tuesdays are really popular. It also depends on whether your T-Mo store is the only one in a certain vicinity. They send a limited number of items to each store (and there is a disclaimer "while supplies last"). So, if you are near the only T-Mo store in a regional area, they may not have enough stock to meet demand. I go to a very low traffic store, and I have never not gotten the item, even when I went at 4 in the afternoon. However, if you want one of the freebies offered, go early in the day, and if they don't have it at the T-Mo store you first go to, look in the app for another location and try there. You do not have to go to the store you normally patronize. If there's a store near your office, for instance, you don't have to wait til you get home to go to the store by your house. And, yes, you can only redeem the item on Tuesday. Not to rub it in or anything, but last Tuesday's blanket is really nice, so if my store had been out of it, there are three others within a 3 mile range I could have gone to.
PS: I always ask if the have the item before pushing the redeem button. Once you push the button, you can't redeem at another store, it counts as a redemption.
