With an SD card would make it easier to upgrade instead of having to wait to transfer your data you plug and play because most time people are transferring files or photos and it takes forever with Smart Switch even when you do the USB-C to USB-C.
Agreed. I loved having a micro-SD slot. Having piece of mind knowing that if I ever need more storage I can toss in a larger capacity card and all my files available at any time, was great. I really hate how Samsung went the way of Apple/cloud storage subscriptions, but in the end it's a business and they care most about money, not customers. We just have to remind ourselves of that fact.
Let's not even get started on raising prices while cutting features...
The rising prices I don't mind tbh the hardware and even the improvements are worth the price, do I think it's a bit inflated yes haha but the micro SD card is them selling cloud storage to themselves or third party companies. Like the Steam Deck uses a micro SD card for games like could you imagine the games or apps they can put on a phone now even then just being able to use the camera functions on these phones I've had to lower camera quality because it eats storage up crazy fast
