Until recently I was able to connect my S24U to my Epson projector with a VPN connection even after the OneUI update. The projector is not a Smart TV, so it's not connected to the wifi.
Every attempt now ends in failure. If try normally, it says its because of my VPN. When I turn off the VPN, it says to power off and on my device. I went into the settings to force stop, clear cache, and clear data and still errors out.
What I've noticed while I'm attempting to connect, is the location icon would dissappear and reappear. Turning off the location doesn't work either. I'm still able to connect a Note10+, so it's not the TV.
Strange thing. My smart view just activated by itself. I was sitting here when I heard a sound from my phone and the smart view app was open and trying to connect to done device we don't own. Not sure if someone was trying to hack my device or what.
I don't even use the feature. I've been trying to find a way to disable it.
my s24u connects with smartview, but when i try using wifi to save some data while streaming, the wifi doesnt wrk. when i try with my s9+ , smart view and my wifi works
