Galaxy S24Taking a screenshot is a pretty basic function and should not consume a substantial amount of RAM. The S24U is a performance powerhouse and should not be having the kind of issues you describe.
Have you followed Samsung's best practices after an update guide? https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/Best-Practices-After-an-Update/ba-p/3200871?src=Shar...
If clearing device cache partition doesn't resolve your issues, a factory reset is likely the next logical step. Be sure to back up data to prevent data loss of you go this route.
Hope this helps!

Galaxy S24Can you please provide info on how you are "clearing the RAM?" I ask because third party "cleaner" apps can often be more harmful than helpful.
At any rate, the troubleshooting steps I provided should be helpful in resolving your issue.

Galaxy S24I almost never use the volume down + side button to take a screen shot. Also abandoned the palm swipe. I now use a routine, whereby I double tap the "home" button on my navigation bar. To do this, you have to download Good Lock and the routines+ module to get the button action. It works perfectly. If you don't use the navigation bar in favor of gestures, you can set a back tap action to take the screenshot. To enable the back tap action, you also need Good Lock and the registar module so that you can enable and configure the back tap action. Also, do clear the phone's cache partition and the app cache for Samsung Capture. To find Samsung capture, go to the apps list in settings, turn on "show system apps" and search or scroll for Samsung Capture, as certainly all the stated methods should take a screen shot without issue. The palm swipe does take some practice to get it right and the two button press is also awkward and tricky.
