Face ID is a hit and miss, Samsung needs to take face ID to the next level.

It's not exactly face ID like Apples Face ID. With the right picture you can unlock it.

You would have to have a dynamic island to fit all of that

Exactly. The Face ID array is the reason the iPhone still has a massive black bar at the top of the screen.

Definitely more secure than Face Unlock on Galaxy Devices, but not worth the trade-off of being horrendously ugly when superior biometric methods like in-screen fingerprint scanners exist.

Put a screen protector over the ultrasonic sensor of the Samsung and see how well it works got my S22 Ultra they come with a aftermarket screen protector I couldn't register my finger no matter how much I tried until I took the screen protector off

Hate to hear that. No issues with my S24+. I've used a screen protector since purchase without issue. Maybe an issue with the tech in the S22 that has since been resolved.

I assume there are ones that work but seeing how I got it a couple months ago stores barely carry S23 ultra products anymore I took the time to look online...๐Ÿซ†

There is a Touch Sensitivity toggle under Settings > Display that may help. It's supposed to be specifically for use with screen protectors. I've never had a problem with the screen protector on my S23+ and it's not from Samsung (i forget what brand it is).

When I turn that on then the fingerprint sensor keeps sensing in my pocket and maxes out the false scans in my pocket when i turn on accidental touch protection and I don't understand why it still kicks on in my pocket

Accidental Touch Protection (also under Display > Settings) is supposed to prevent that sort of thing. If that's already turned on and your phone is activating anyway, I'd send feedback to Samsung. This behavior is not normal. My S23+ has never caused either of those problems for me.
