The updates, including security updates come through your carrier. Most phones are on the May 1st update. I don't think June 1 came down yet, there's still 12 days left to June and it may even come the 1st week in July. Just because an update is dated the 1st, doesn't mean it's available to the masses on the 1st. If you don't have the May 1st update and you tried downloading it from your settings, try connecting your phone to a computer and using Smart Switch for Windows to see if you can force an update.
