I plugged my s24 ultra into my pc and transferred music from a external hard drive to my phones music section to use on the samsung music app. It shows up on my phone on my pc but not on my phone or in the samsung music app. It just has the syncing symbol next to it and Ive tried everything. Really want to use this app for my music and Ive had music on it before but deleted and to put all my music on it and now it wont work. At all! What can I do to make it sync to my phone or the app or anything. Thanks

If you loaded music from your PC/external hard drive to your phones music folder and it is not seeing the tracks try this. Settings, apps, Samsung Music, tap on force stop at the bottom, scroll through the menu and find storage, now click clear cache and then clear data, this will clear the app. Now, reopen the app, click continue, continue again, tap allow for access to music and audio on, you can allow notification or not that's your preference. It will be set to playlists at the top right below Samsung Music header it will be on playlists, you need switch to tracks your music should show up.

Download a different music app such as Musicolet and see if that app see the music folder. If it doesn't there may be something wrong with your music folder. The only other thing I can think of is you didn't give it permission to access music and audio files.

I was using Musicolet and switched back to Samsung Music a couple weeks ago and remember I had issues with a few songs that were corrupted and wouldn't play. I connected to my laptop and if I remember correctly I just deleted the music folder and then added a new music folder to the phone and then installed my music again to that new music folder. I found that the corrupt music was actually on my laptop and had to get a file off of my desktop PC instead.
