I know that Samsung is rolling back classic Dex on newer versions of oneui, but I have One UI 8 and from what i can tell oneui 8 users should be able to choose between classic Dex and newer Dex when connecting to an external display. I don't see an option at all on my phone, and was wondering why this is the case and if there is any way I can get this feature.
The beloved Classic DeX is officially retired on One UI 8. You'll use the new, Android-based DeX, which might feel like a downgrade now but is intended to improve with future Android updates.
Your original post was talking about your phone, not tablet. I was giving you the answer. I am not sure how they are able to use classic dex on external monitors. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.
