Samsung backup problems

So I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra won't run a backup when I'm connected to Wi-Fi, but it will complete the backup when using mobile data. I don't know if it's a problem with my Wi-Fi, but I'm not having any issues on YouTube or anything. I'm just really confused.

P.s Okay, update: I recently started using NordVPN with threat detection enabled. Out of curiosity, I disabled threat detection, and now the backup is working. I don't know why that would stop the backup, but it did.

Yah I've cleared the cache partition a couple of times

Then try resetting the router.

Do you have two modems or router in home that would confuse phone into thinking its a hotspot

Okay, update: I recently started using NordVPN with threat detection enabled. Out of curiosity, I disabled threat detection, and now the backup is working. I don't know why that would stop the backup, but it did.

Is there a setting in the VPN threat protection to allow exceptions - like access to the Samsung cloud for backing up?  It makes sense that threat protection would sense outgoing backup data as a threat.  It does not know someone is not trying to copy your data.

I haven't seen any settings that allow it.

There must be a setting.  I'm reading the website for the features and it says it allows split tunneling which allows you to route certain traffic without the threat protection.  If you can't find the setting, I recommend that you contact the support team for the app and ask how to do it. I've went through split tunneling and filtering all android system applications and it still didn't work. I'll try and contact them

Unless I just bypass all non-internet apps to not go through the vpn but that's over 800 system applications and play store apps
