So I up until 3 days ago. Everything worked fine on my s24. Now it won't connect to wired Android auto out at all on either of my two vehicles. It won't charge on any if the usb ports. And it won't charge on nothing but 1 of the 5 cables I have. When it use to work with them all. Basically I use it on wired Android auto one night just fime. I forgot to charge it and fell asleep. I woke up and tried using my anker charger to charge it. It would not charge at all. So I took that same cable and plugged into into my ps5. It then began to charge. I left thinking it was just the wall outlet. Got in my truck and plugged it into the USB port. And it said device nit recognized and it wouldn't charge either. And ever since then it hasn't worked right on anything. Now it will charge with one cable I have no problem. On any wall outlet have. But any other cable, you can forget it. Yet two friends of mine were able two use to of those same cables from my truck. And there phones charged and worked with Android auto no problem. My phone use to with the cables. But now it won't. Anyone else have any idea to why this might be happening? And one more thing, wifi calling will no longer come on.
To me, this sounds like the charging port may have gone bad. Maybe some "dirty" voltage made it along the line and fried something. I would recommend taking it to a Samsung authorized service center, and have them run diagnostics on it, and possibly get this part changed out. The good news here is that the part is not the most expensive in the phone, but labor can be costly... In the mean time, at least you still have 1 charger that works, and likely wireless charging still works as well.
