Galaxy S24Kind of a weird issue so I'll try be as succinct as possible. I'm almost certain there's no solution (even 3rd party) but if anyone knows, would love your input.
I'm using dual SIM in my S24 - 1 physical and 1 eSIM.
The physical SIM is my "secondary" work phone number and the eSIM is my "primary" and personal phone number.
The problem is, the phone latches onto the physical SIM as the main host and primary source for any settings and references and overrides everything else. There's no way to change between the SIM priority. Sure, there's controls preferred SIM for calls, messages and mobile data but that's mostly it.
One of the main problems I'm facing is system notification sounds. All notifications are drawing from what would be my secondary preferred settings. I have my work SIM setup in a specific way that's supposed to be separate and unique from the phone/personal stuff.
"App specific" notification settings don't solve the issue since you can't split it between the two SIMs, it's for the app in its' entirety.
Then there's the antennas, or what shows as VoLTE1 and VoLTE2. Not sure if this is just name/number for name sake or if there actually is some kind of service and signal priority that's occurring. Hopefully not, since VoLTE2 is technically meant to be my primary.
I've looked high and low on this issue and it looks like I'm not the only one. It also looks like there used to be controls for this in the past but are now gone??
