S24 goes to lock screen on article click

When I click on a story in my Google news feed, if I click on the image it pulls up the lockscreen. If I click the word link this doesn't happen.

If I unlock the phone the article is there. 

Any ideas?

Doesn't happen everytime, so it is hard to replicate.
