Galaxy S24Hi,
I have a product that uses a QR code to deliver a text instead of a URL. It has been working just fine on many systems for years. Today I came across a person with a Galaxy S24 who was unable to scan the QR code. I'm not sure if it was user error or what. Can anyone tell me what menu comes up when you scan this code? And if you were able to eventually send the text, (or at least it populated the text properly so you could send it), please list the steps how you did it. I would greatly appreciate it.

Galaxy S24Masked the number for privacy. You might want to remove the QR code.
I used the smart select to scan the QR code.

Galaxy S24Thanks Omen. When she tried to scan it she said it didn't work. The QR code itself creates a text message, it's not just a URL. There was some point where she said the menu said "Send Message" but then she said there was no message to send. It's hard for me to recreate this issue without the phone to play with. And they removed the QR code I posted earlier for some kind of terms infringement. If any one is willing, you can go to https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/, create an SMS QR code, and I would love to hear if the camera app scan would work somehow. Apparently the "smart scan" works without any issues.
