Hello, I'm hoping somebody can help me with this because turning off optimization is not helping. My photos, both when I'm taking pictures and when I'm viewing them in the gallery look dark and yellow. When I view those exact same photos on my other Motorola phone or my computer they do not appear tinted. I'm not sure what display settings to edit cuz I've already tried multiple ones and nothing is helping. I've done a reset and still have this dark yellow tint when viewing stuff in my gallery or taking pictures.

This is how it looks without adjusting the brightness on the camera and I'm taking this picture in the absolute brightest white lighting that includes three ultra white cool bulbs.

I've
*changed scene optimization to minimum,

* switched from natural to vivid screen and lowered it all the way to cool,

*Made sure there is no dimming, I comfort shield or adaptive brightness

*I have Max brightness set right now with the extra brightness feature

I've reset my camera settings, cleared cache in my camera and my gallery, and also reset system settings

I'm really hoping somebody can help me, because I take pictures of items to resell, so I can't afford to have discrepancies that bad. I bought this phone specifically because I was informed that has a great camera

Maybe you have your blue light filter on? That's all I can think of but that didn't Account for the darkness, just the yellow.

Consider using another shop to take pictures then. There's seems to be a lot of issues with one ui 8 and it's interactions with the existing system software. This helped with an issue I have with the camera so maybe it'll help you as well.

Another shop? I've used photo room to edit, and it is very time-consuming. What is problematic is that I purchased this phone under the impressions of the camera was wonderful and thought it would be helpful

Typo! I meant using another camera app. The camera might be fine.

Any suggestions? Wouldn't the system one be the best? I'm not even sure how that would work considering that when I do take the photos and photo room I still have the same issue

The system one should be the best, but that isn't always the case! I use something called open camera from F-Droid. Alternatively try setting up a "work" profile. It's a seperate section for things like dual messenger where you text people from different numbers using the same phone. I've found with my software issue in particular it will corrupt 1 in 20 photos using the system camera app. But when i use the other camera app *or* the work profile system camera the issue dissappears. This is definitely not a fix, but it's the best bandaid I've found for my issue until the software gets fixed.

Thanks. It's aggravating. I've sent feedback reports, texted with them, filed error reports and basically haven't gotten help. I know now it's a widespread issue so I'm not sure why they haven't cared to fix it
