Phone randomly goes to landscape mode

I'm so tired of this. My phone changes to "landscape mode" or "screen rotation " on its own all the time without my permission all the time. If I wanted my screen to rotate I would put it in rotation mode myself.

How do I stop this?

Turn off Auto Rotate in the quick panel.

And if you already have Auto Rotate turned off, talk to the app developer of the app rotating. Some devs program to ignore that setting, which is really crappy programming.

Except for streaming video.  Those apps are meant to be viewed in landscape and is programmed exactly right.

Download orientation control from Google Play, you can lock your screen in portrait mode free and no issues.

@LordVakoThere is no need to download a third party app, when they can just use the quick panel to control it.

Because unless you are unaware there are programs that bypass the native orientation and it's annoying plus it keeps failing from time to time and have to be "resetting" it, I prefer third party 1 click no fuzz, anyhow there's no rules stating I can't recommend a third party not to say not all Samsung's features are solid 🤷

I am not unaware and there is still no need to clutter up one's phone with a redundant app. The only way auto ritate turns back on is if one's fingers happen to hit it while trying for something else.

Not true. I've reported it myself to developers so not true. Secondly it's in one's own prerogative not yours if they want to install another app suggested it not. After all is a suggestion not a mandate, capish..
