Location service stays on consistently after one ui 7 update

After the OneUI 7 update, location services stays on consistently. Especially the below services constantly keeps requesting location

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Play Services. But once I turn on Location Accuracy, the Location request is back on consistently.

Update: The only thing that resolved this issue was a factory reset.

The location is still constantly being used even after the beta and my battery is still bad. I barely get 4.5 hours of screen-on time on a GOOD day. That's not normal for an Ultra device. Samsung, please fix this.

Wait about a week for the Battery to adjust itself again after an OS update, lol

No, it's been like that since the beta. It's not about getting used to it. It's literally a bug. The location is constantly on and my phone hasn't gotten used to it in the last few weeks.

If your battery is draining, it's not because of the location being accessed.  Check your battery statistics and see which are the top 3 apps that use the most battery, then make sure they are optimized or put to sleep.

I think Samsung hasn't fixed that localization bug yet, because it still appears in the top right corner. I don't know why that happens.

So the only thing that fixed this issue for me was a Factory Reset.

After upgrade to one UI7, there is a persistent GPS notification. 

Also, the samsung work activity widget is not working.

It appears they didn't fix the bug with Continuity Services and Phone Services constantly pinging location access and thus draining battery.

Also, frequent Wi-Fi 7 drops are not fixed.

Personally, I never had that issue with the betas. Lucky I guess or it could be your Wifi?

There is a phone setting in advanced settings for WiFi to switch to network 4G/5G if the Wifi signal is not good. You might try toggling this off.
