Galaxy S24I agree that it is normal for samsung system apps to request location access. However, as the user below stated, it is constantly requesting location. This is subsequently consuming resources and adversely effecting the phones battery life and performance via excessive heat and background cpu usage, respectively. I find it highly unlikely that there is any viable necessity for sustained and uninterrupted location access. This, in my opinion, appears to be a unintended flaw with the most recent update. This needs to be addressed and patched. Or I will just operate off the assumption that it was intentional and Samsung/Google is selling my location data

Galaxy S24Under Settings/ Apps/apo permission there is no such option of turning on ' show system apps' . My s23u is running the june patch of one ui 7.

Galaxy S24To turn on system apps, go to settings/apps then tap the menu icon at the top right of the apps list (not the one where the magnifying glass is). Then slide on "show system apps", tap "OK" and then proceed with your apps search, or just scroll down the list.
