Location service stays on consistently after one ui 7 update

After the OneUI 7 update, location services stays on consistently. Especially the below services constantly keeps requesting location

Tried, uninstalling and reinstalling Google Play Services. But once I turn on Location Accuracy, the Location request is back on consistently.

Update: The only thing that resolved this issue was a factory reset.

There is no such option as disable system apps from the permission manager.

I agree that it is normal for samsung system apps to request location access. However, as the user below stated, it is constantly requesting location. This is subsequently consuming resources and adversely effecting the phones battery life and performance via excessive heat and background cpu usage, respectively. I find it highly unlikely that there is any viable  necessity for sustained and uninterrupted location access.  This, in my opinion, appears to be a unintended flaw with the most recent update. This needs to be addressed and patched. Or I will just operate off the assumption that it was intentional and Samsung/Google is selling my location data

It is not consuming battery. Show me your battery usage stats where it shows lication services using *any* of your battery.

Under Settings/ Apps/apo permission there is no such option of turning on ' show system apps' . My s23u is running the june patch of one ui 7.

To turn on system apps, go to settings/apps then tap the menu icon at the top right of the apps list (not the one where the magnifying glass is).  Then slide on "show system apps", tap "OK" and then proceed with your apps search, or just scroll down the list.

This constantly happens for me too, they said they resolved it in the stable update but it still happens, CONSTANTLY USING LOCATION and it drains battery bad

Yesss, this has been happening even before the official update!!! Literally started on the last beta. I noticed how much this drained my battery!! 🔋

I deleted the Google play services updates and reupdated it and it solved the problem. It does make you do a restore of Samsung watches if that's a concern for you.

It worked initially. But once I turned on Location Accuracy the issue came back and the Location is on constantly.
