Hi everyone,

I’m writing on behalf of my mother who recently updated her Galaxy S24 Ultra to One UI 7, and we’ve noticed a strange language issue since the update.

Her phone is set to Bulgarian, and most of the interface is still correctly translated. However, certain sections—especially within the Settings menu—are now showing in English, even though the rest of the UI remains in Bulgarian.

This partial translation is confusing, especially for users who aren’t comfortable with English. We tried restarting the phone, switching the language back and forth, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced something similar after updating to One UI 7? Maybe with other languages—not just Bulgarian? It would be helpful to know if this is a wider issue and whether there’s a fix or update coming to address it.

Thanks in advance for any help or shared experiences!

@user12352354 You can submit a bug report via the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send feedback.

Same on S24. I have Hong Kong version of S24 (Snapdragon FTW) but I live in Poland. On One UI 6.1 everything was in Polish, but after updating to One UI 7 i have the same bug - almost entire settings menu is still in English. I've reached out to Samsung for troubleshooting but didn't receive any answer for a month now. Guess we have to wait for next update...

Also have this on Z Fold 6. English is my default language but I have Japanese installed for keyboard support as my second written language. Apps will randomly display text in Japanese in settings menus as well as stock settings app and notifications from Samsung directly. Very annoying as my Kanji isn't the best and English is my native language so I have to reboot the phone to get it set back to English in some cases so I can actually USE my device as intended. This happens even if I manually set the entire app to English as default instead of System Default in the Settings > Apps > Effected App > Language (if the app supports it)
